Row Instructions

Initial Rows

1st row (RS): 5 purls, *yarn over, purl 2 together, 4 purls*; repeat from * to *;

2nd row: 5 knit stitches, *1 purl, 5 knit stitches*; repeat from * to *;

3rd row: 5 purls, *1 knit stitch, 5 purls*; repeat from * to *;

4th row: as the 2nd row;

5th row: as the 1st row;

6th row: as the 2nd row;

Advanced Rows

7th row: 2 purls, yarn over, purl 2 together, *4 purls, yarn over, purl 2 together*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl;

8th row: 2 knit stitches, 1 purl, *5 knit stitches, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 2 knit stitches;

9th row: 2 purls, 1 knit stitch, *5 purls, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to *, 2 purls;

10th row: as the 8th row;

11th row: as the 9th row;

12th row: as the 8th row.

Repeating the Pattern

Repeat rows 1 through 12.
