Introduction to Stitch Quantity

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 12 plus 1 plus 2 selvage stitches.

Row Instructions

1st Row

Slip 1 stitch, knit through the back loop (tbl) to the last stitch, then purl 1.

2nd Row

Slip 1 stitch, knit through the back loop, then follow the pattern: *5 knit tbl, knit 2 together tbl, 4 knit tbl, knit twice*; repeat from * to *, ending with purl 1.

Repetition of Rows

Repeat the 2nd row continuously to create the desired knit pattern.
