Essential Knitting Patterns for Different Rows

Row Instructions

1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th Rows:

* 5 purls, 5 knit stitches, 5 purls, 5 knit stitches; repeat from * to *;

2nd and All the Even Rows:

Follow the pattern accordingly;

9th Row:

* Cross 10 stitches to the left (leave 5 stitches on the auxiliary needle in front of the work, knit 5 stitches, then knit 5 stitches from the auxiliary needle), 5 knit stitches, 5 purls; repeat from * to *;

11th, 13th, 15th, and 17th Rows:

* 5 knit stitches, 5 purls, 5 knit stitches, 5 purls; repeat from * to *;

19th Row:

* 5 purls, cross 10 stitches to the left, 5 knit stitches; repeat from * to *.
