Main Pattern A

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 12 + 11. Work according to the scheme. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, include pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

Main Pattern B

Make in the same way as Main Pattern A. Complete 1^st-5^th rows, then repeat 2^nd-5^th rows and finish with 6^th-17^th rows.

Stitches Control

23 stitches x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Upper Part of Back and Front

Make 95 (107) 119 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with Main Pattern A = 7 (8) 9 pattern repeats + initial and final stitches. In 26 (30) 34 cm from the set-up row (after the 6^th row of pattern A), make 7^th-11^th rows, then repeat 8^th-11^th rows three times, finishing with 8^th-10^th rows = 46 (50) 54 rows. In 40 cm = 32 rows (42.5 cm = 34 rows) 45 cm = 36 rows from the set-up row, leave 1 pattern repeat from both sides for arm-holes = 5 (6) 7 pattern repeats + initial and final stitches. At 15 cm height = 12 rows (17.5 cm = 14 rows) 20 cm = 16 rows, leave the central 3 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeat from both sides (4) 3 + 1.2 pattern repeats from both sides for neck-hole and continue work separately. Finish at 2.5 cm = 2 rows height of neck-hole on the rest 1 (1.5) 2 pattern repeats from each side.

Lower Part of Back and Front

Fasten the set-up row of the upper part with 95 (107) 119 single crochets according to the scheme and work with Main Pattern B = 7 (8) 9 pattern repeats + initial and final stitches. Make 1^st-5^th rows once, then 2^nd-5^th rows 1 (2) 3 times, and finish with the 6^th-17^th rows. Finish at 26 cm = 21 rows (31 cm = 25 rows) 36 cm = 29 rows of Main Pattern B.

Upper Part of Front

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. To achieve this, leave the central stitches of the neck-hole in the same way as for back at 5 (7.5) 10 cm arm-hole height = 4 (6) 8 rows.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten all the edges with 1 row of single crochets and “shrimp stitch.” Change every 2^nd stitch of “shrimp stitch” to 1 chain stitch increase and make stitches of “shrimp stitch” only in every 2^nd base stitches in the 2^nd row.
