Crochet Techniques: Mastering Color Changes and Stitches

Work due to the scheme, on which both right-side and wrong-side rows are stated.
Crochet the first 3 rows with violet color, and the next 4 rows (they're stated red on the scheme) with light-green color.
Repeat the 1st to 7th rows.
Stitch Technique
* 2 chain stitches, yarn over, insert the hook in the first square and draw the stitch, repeat yarn over twice and draw the stitch.
Then make yarn over and insert the hook in the lower square (see the scheme) three times and draw the thread. Then, yarn over and insert the hook in the third lower square, then in the fourth, and fifth. When all slipped stitches from each square are on the hook, draw the stitches through all stitches and fasten it with a slip stitch. Make 3 chain stitches and 3 double crochets.
