How to Create a Stunning Crochet Doily

You’ll Need:

30g of 100% cotton yarn in white color (265m/50g);

Crochet hook 1.25-1.5.

Instructions

Make 6 chain sts and circle them in the ring with 1 slip st for the central part.

Replace the 1st single crochet with 1 chain st and make 17 single crochets around, finishing with 1 slip st in the 1st chain st.

Work according to the scheme to the 6th circle row, starting each circle row with chain sts as stated on the scheme, and finish with 1 slip st. If necessary, make a slip st before the next circle row.

Start near arrow A and make a stripe with straight and reversed rows around the central part. For this, make 9 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the 4th-1st chain sts, turn with the help of 5 chain sts, and continue work. Connect with picot of the 6th row according to the scheme using a single crochet.

Connect near arrow B every time and fasten the spaces between the stripe and the central part with 1 circle row, starting with 5 chain sts and finishing with 1 slip st in the 5^th chain st.

Make the 2^nd stripe, starting near the arrow C, connecting with the arch of the 1^st stripe using a double crochet, as stated.

Connect near arrow D and make the 7^th and 8^th circle rows around the whole doily. Only part of the doily is stated on the scheme; finish the circle row according to the ornament.
