How to Knit a Stylish Hat with Garter Stitch

You'll Need:

About 100g of middle weight yarn of white and violet color;

Knitting needles 3.5;

Crochet hook;

Beads.

Garter stitch.

Instructions

Cast on 13 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and work with garter stitch to 40 cm height. Cast on the sts with white yarn, increasing 1 st in every 5 sts along the edge of the stripe.

Cast on the sts with white yarn from the opposite end and make increases in 1 st. Make 2 rows with garter stitch and increase 1 st in every 2 sts.

Make 7 rows with garter stitch and bind off all the sts at the same time.

Finishing Touches

Fasten the edges of the hat with the help of a crochet hook:

• 1 row of single crochets and "shrimp stitch" along the bottom part;
• 1 row of single crochets and 2 rows of arches of 3 chain sts, which alternate with 2 single crochets along the upper part.

Make a cord with decorative thread. Insert it into the holes of the pattern while making arches, tighten in the crown. Decorate the end of the cord with beads.
