How to Knit a Turquoise Afghan and Cushion


You’ll Need:
1200g of 100% acryl yarn of turquoise color (240m/100g);
Circle knitting needles 4.5.
Size of Afghan:
1.4 x 2.0 m.
Used Patterns:
- 2 x 2 rib;
- Cables: follow the scheme, which states only the right-side rows. Make wrong-side rows according to the ornament.
Instructions:
Afghan
Cast on 208 sts + 2 selvedge sts. Make 5 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Then, allocate the sts in the following order: 1 selvedge st, pattern repeat x 8 times, 1 selvedge st. Continue until the total length is 195 cm. Turn to rib and make it to 5 cm height, then bind off all the sts.
Cushion
Cast on 80 sts + 2 selvedge sts. Make 5 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Then, allocate the sts in the following order: 1 selvedge st, pattern repeat x 3 times, 1 selvedge st. Continue working this way to a length of 80 cm. Fold the obtained stripe and sew the sides.
