Introduction to Selvedge Stitches

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 18 + 2 + 2 selvedge stitches.

Working the Pattern

Work according to the scheme, which only states the right-side rows. Start with 1 selvedge stitch, then work the stitches before the pattern repeat, followed by the pattern repeat, and finish with 1 selvedge stitch.

Make the wrong-side rows according to the ornament.

Vertical Pattern Repeat

The vertical pattern repeat spans from the 1st to the 28th rows.
