Creating the Center Ring
Make 5 chain stitches and circle them in a ring by means of a slip stitch. Fasten the ring with 8 single crochets, followed by 2 double crochets in every stitch of the previous row, resulting in 16 double crochets.
First Layer of Petals
* 5 chain stitches, 2 single crochets in the next 2 stitches of the lower row*; repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
Fasten each petal in the following way: 1 single crochet, 5 double crochets, 1 single crochet, and 1 half-crochet in the connecting strip between petals.
Second Layer of Petals
Turn to make the next layer of petals. * 7 chain stitches, relief crochet, catching the crochet of the lower row behind the work*; repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
Fasten each arch in the following way: 1 single crochet, 7 double crochets, 1 single crochet.
* 1 half-crochet in the crochet between petals*. Two layers are ready.
Third Layer of Petals
Make the arches for the 3rd layer in the same way, but the initial chain should consist of 10 chain stitches.
Under each arch, create the following: * 1 single crochet, 10 chain stitches, 1 single crochet*.
Finish with the petals fastening: * 1 half-crochet, 1 chain stitch*.
