How to Create a Beautiful Pattern with Simple Crochet Techniques

Note: Ch1 at the beginning of the row doesn’t count as the first stitch.

Row 1: Ch a multiple of 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook,
*ch1, skip the next 2ch, 2sc in next ch*, repeat from * to last ch, sc in the last ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch1, sc in first sc,
*ch1, 2sc into back loop of next ch1*, repeat from * to last st, sc in last st, turn.

Repeat Row 2 for the pattern.
