How to Knit a Sheep Blanket Using Cotton Yarn


You'll Need:
250g of 100% cotton yarn of yellow color (115m/50g);
100g of the same yarn, but white color;
50g of the same yarn, but black color;
Knitting needles 4.
Size:
65 x 75 cm.
Used Patterns
Garter stitch: all knit sts;
Stockinette stitch: in right-side rows - knit sts, in wrong-side rows - purls.
Knit the sheep according to the scheme.
Stitches Control on Stockinette Stitch:
20 sts = 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 144 sts. Knit 3 cm with garter stitch and turn to stockinette stitch, saving garter stitch on 5 edging sts from both sides of the blanket. After making 8 rows, turn to the pattern. Make sheep according to the scheme with stockinette stitch. After knitting 5 rows of sheep, make 8 rows of stockinette stitch without sheep. Then, 3 rows of garter stitch. Bind off the sts.
