1st row: * 1 knit st, 3 purls, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

3rd row: * 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, purl2tog, 1 purl, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

5th row: * 1 purl, knit2tog with left decline, knit2tog with right decline, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

7th row: * 2 purls, 2 knit sts, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

9th row: * purl2tog, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to end of row;
