How to Create a Beaded Tree Decoration
You'll Need:
- Threads with jewels at least 50 cm
- Copper wire for bead weaving
- Florist's tape or adhesive tape
- Plaster
- Paints
Instructions:
Unstring the threads of jewels.
String some jewels on copper wire in random order.
Forming the Branches
Begin to form branches. To do this, step back a bit from the first jewel and fix the first jewel.
Fix two more jewels on the sides. Finish the whole branch to the end.Group several branches into one, twisting the wire together. Please note that it is not worth saving on the wire; it’s better to remove the excess later.
Weave until all the jewels are over; you can leave a few pieces for the decor of the trunk.
Decorating the Branches
Now we proceed to decorate the branches themselves, wrapping them with a florist's tape.
Forming the Tree
In the same way, collect all the branches together, thus forming a tree.
In order to make a beautiful and stable foundation, use plaster.
Creating the Trunk
Also, with the help of plaster and PVA glue, form the tree trunk.
For a beautiful design, it will be necessary to make several layers, but at the same time, each layer, before applying the next, should dry well.
At the end of the work, it is necessary to paint the entire base of plaster with brown acrylic paint.
Final Touches
The final step will be to decorate the foundation with the remaining jewels using a glue gun.
