How to Create Beaded Earwires Using Basic Tools

You'll Need:

Bent pliers;

Round-nose pliers;

Pliers;

Broach file;

Flat-nose pliers - 2 pcs;

Silver wire (section 1.0 or 0.8 mm);

2 beads;

Round pen-marker;

Ruler.

Instructions

Make loops or earwires. Cut two pieces of wire with the length 8 cm with the pliers and smooth the ends. Put the wire around the marker, moving slightly out of the center.

Bend the long ends of the wire.

Bend the short ends with round-nose pliers.

Polish the ends with a broach file.

Put on the beads. Your earwires are now ready.

Now, cut 2 pieces of wire with a length of 12 cm and bend the end with the pliers.

Press with the pliers.

Make a spiral using bent pliers. You should get two spirals of the same length with ends that match.

Using round-nose pliers, bend the wire 4 times around the spiral to create a square.

Let's make a loop. Grab the spiral with round-nose pliers opposite the center and bend it up.

Move the round-nose pliers slightly up and bend the wire, then bite off the excess.

If you have an anvil or fly press, you can beat it with a hammer, although it’s not necessary.

Finally, assemble all the parts together.
