Row 1
(Right Side) Ch 34, hdc in 3rd ch from hook (skipped ch count as first hdc), [hdc in next ch] across. (33)
Row 2
Ch 3 (counts as first hdc and ch 1), turn, skip next hdc, hdc in next hdc, [ch 1, skip next hdc, hdc in next hdc] across. (17 hdc and 16 ch-1 sps)
Row 3
Ch 2, turn, [hdc in next ch, hdc in next hdc] across. (33)
Row 4-19
Rep Rows 2-3, eight times. At end of Row 19, finish off and weave in ends.
Knot Instructions
Cut a 48” piece of yarn and thread in large tapestry needle. Double and tie a knot at ends. With the right side of the dishcloth facing and starting at the bottom in the center stitch (17th hdc from either end), hide the knot on the wrong side, bringing the needle through to the right side, weave through the center stitch of each row. Pull thread to gather slightly, making a Bow shape, turn to back side and run thread through some of the stitches on the back. Wrap the thread around the tie, two times and secure at the middle of the back. Finish off and weave in ends.
