• Foamiran sheets of green and white colours
• Acrylic paints
• Cardboard
• Staminas
• Hot air gun
• Wire
• Iron
• Brown felt pen and pencil
• Toothpick
• Scissors

Instructions

Follow these steps to craft your Foamiran lily flower:

1. On cardboard, draw a contour of a lily petal, 6 cm long, and cut it out.
2. Apply this pattern to the white foamiran, circle, and cut it out. To create a lily, you will need 6 such blanks.
3. Colour the petals on both sides. Light pink or lilac color will look more natural.
4. Next, heat the petals using the iron. While they are heated, push the veins with the help of a toothpick. This will make your flower look more textured and realistic.
5. Also, heat the edges of the petal to give them wavy bends.
6. Draw the bottom and dots with a brown felt-tip pen on each petal, mimicking the appearance of the petals of a living flower.
7. Glue the prepared stamens to the wire.
8. On a sheet of green foamiran, draw 3 oblong leaflets for the lily and cut them out.
9. Heating on the iron, give the petals texture.
10. Assemble the flower: first, glue 3 petals around the stamens, then glue the other three in the next row, observing a chess sequence.
11. The final step is to glue on the green leaves.
