Stitching

Stitching is worked using two strands of yarn and is worked through every other row across the length of the project. When sewing through, leave approximately 9 inches of yarn on either side. This leaves room for adjustment from blocking.

Color D: stitches 1, 3, 13, 15, 23, 31, 33, 43, 45, 53, 61, 63, 73, 75

Color E: stitches 6-7, 9-10, 36-37, 39-40, 66-67, 69-70

After blocking, trim loose threads approximately half an inch from the desired length. I trimmed mine at 8 inches.

The majority of loose threads are located near each other. Gather up 4 strands (for example, strands from stitches 1 and 3) and knot them together. For stitches 23 and 53, sew an added strand cut from your remaining yarn through the stitch and knot together with the original loose threads.
