- Hook Q Hook - 15 mm
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle
- Tape Measure
Stitches/Techniques
Special Stitches: V-Stitch (Work 2 Double Crochet Stitches into one Stitch)
- CH – Chain
- SC - Single Crochet
- DC - Double Crochet
- SK - Skip
- SL ST - Slip Stitch
- ST - Stitch
Let's Begin!
Row 1 - CH. 14, SC into the backloop of the second CH from the hook and across, TURN (13 SC)
Working into the backloop will make it easier for joining the ends together later
Row 2 - CH. 2, SK the first Stitch (V-Stitch, SK the next stitch) repeat 4 more times, DC into the last stitch, TURN (5 V-Stitches and 2 DC at the beginning and the end of the row)
Row 3 - CH. 2, work a V-Stitch into each of the V-Stitch spaces from the previous round, DC into the last stitch, TURN (5 V-Stitches and 2 DC at the beginning and the end of the row)
Row 4 - 46 - Repeat Row 3 (43 times)
Row 47 - CH. 1, SC into each stitch across. (12 SC)
To Join - You will put the two ends together so that the right sides of the scarf are together. You will be working a slip stitch through the SC of both ends. This creates a nice straight seam.
Fasten off and weave in all ends. All Done!!
