Knitting pattern squares

Jan 27, 2021 09:08 AM

I was looking over all of the different knitting stitch patterns and I thought how fun it would be to make each of the squares.  But then what to do with them.  So I decided I could make afghans out of the squares but if the squares are different sizes how does that work out?  Has anyone done this?

Similar to making a quilt, just keep wiggling them around till you get the to fit into the projected afghan size. Maybe you'll have to make a few different blocks to bring them all into shape.

I found this book years ago and am making those squares.  They crochet around each of the squares to make it easier to put them together.
