Help to Choose a Pet

Jan 16, 2021 11:10 PM

Hi, ladies!

I need your advice.

My daughters persuaded me to buy a pet for them, but they haven't decided who do they want more - cat or dog.

We have chosen several braids of both of them, maybe, some of you have the same pet.

So, please, tell me, who is the most calm?

I need my house not to be ruined!

Ha-ha.

Please, help!

Depends on whether you have time to walk a dog multiple times a day, or if you want to clean a litter box daily.

Both 🐕puppies you picked are good easily trained house dogs and will be good with the children.

The first and second cats may or may not be good with the girls depending on the cats basic attitude, the third cat should be good, but they can get big and all cats can be mischevious.

All of them are adorable!  Corgi dogs are loyal to one person,  and can be nippy.  Cats are usually like there owners,  loud and busy or slow and quiet!  They take on the same character,  but also can be loveable,  usually female cats are easier to train to a litter box!!  Males like to have/ mark there territory and some refuse to use a litter box!  (Like mine 😝) so annoying.  But, if they have a scratch board or old piece of carpet,  they are usually constant to stretch and scratch on this.  All pets are different,  I find poodle crosses to yip/ bark a lot, especially if home alone.  Good luck,  everyone needs a pet, to love and be loved by..

I have had several pets over the years, (right now I just have fish in a pond outside, my dog and a tortoise. At one time I did have a Corgi and did not work out well as they are a «herder» breed. Living in the city she did not have enough room to run the way they like so I ended up giving it to a friend who lived on a farm.

Depends on where the live the breed of cat you would have available! I live in Indiana, USA! I have 3 kitties....my girls are sisters and 9yrs old, also have a boy that was a rescue baby 5weeks old now 7yrs! Mine have always used their litter boxes without a problem and are easy going lovable kitties! Like someone else said you need to think about if you will be able to walk a dog several times a day! The dogs pictured are very good with children! The kitties shown, I can't say, because I don't know about that breed!  Pets are a big responsiblilty and usually live 12 to 15 yrs......that is also something to think about! Some want pets while they are young but sometimes not when they get older, it's sad to put an animal out when they get older and not the cute bouncy baby anymore, but it happens! Pets have feelings too and need their family to always be their family!  Good luck!

I have 2 of each.  The one cat is very loving. The other has a mind of her own but will love on you. One dog plays with the second cat. The other dog just goes about his business and shows love when he wants too. They are all crazy when it comes to treats except the first cat. She simply waits for you.  I've grown up all my life with dogs of all breeds.

My favorite are rescues. All mine after leaving home have been rescues.  Please think about rescuing a pet from a shelter.  They are The Most Loving animals around.  They get so happy when someone takes rmthem away from the 3 brick walls and caged door.  And they are very loyal to their rescuers.

You won't be sorry❤️😺🐶
