How to Crochet a Bottle Ornament

You’ll Need:
1 skein of RED HEART Super Saver in Coffee color A (365);
1 skein of the same yarn, but in Cherry Red color B (319);
1 skein of the same yarn, but in Soft White color C (316);
Crochet hook 3.75 mm;
Polyester fiberfill;
50 cm of thin gold ribbon (for hanger);
Stitch markers;
Yarn needle.
Stitches Control:
20 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Bottle
With A, ch 2.
Round 1 (right side): Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook—6 sc. Do not join, work in continuous rounds (spirals). Place a marker for the beginning of the round. Move marker up as each round is completed.
Round 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around—12 sc.
Round 3: [Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc] 6 times—18 sc.
Round 4: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc around.
Round 5: Sc in each sc around.
Round 6: [Sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog] 3 times—15 sc.
Rounds 7 and 8: Sc in each sc around.
Round 9: [Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc] 3 times—18 sc.
Rounds 10 and 11: Sc in each sc around and change to B in the last sc of Round 11.
Rounds 12–15: With B, sc in each sc around and change to A in the last sc of Round 15. Start stuffing the bottle and continue to stuff as work progresses.
Round 16: [Sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog] 3 times—15 sc.
Round 17: [Sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog] 3 times—12 sc.
Round 18: Sc in each sc around.
Round 19: [Sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog] 3 times—9 sc.
Round 20: [Sc in next sc, sc2tog] 3 times—6 sc.
Rounds 21 and 22: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
Cap
With B, ch 2.
Round 1 (right side): Work 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with slip st in the first sc—8 sc.
Round 2: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each sc around; join with slip st in the first sc.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
Assembly
With B, sew the cap to the top of the bottle.
Label: With a yarn needle and C, using the photograph as a guide, embroider back stitch "Cola" on the front of the bottle.
Fold the gold ribbon in half. Insert the crochet hook around a few stitches at the top of the ornament, place the ribbon fold on the hook, and draw it through to form a loop.
Thread the ends of the ribbon through the loop and pull to tighten. Tie the ends together with a bow or overhand knot to form a hanging loop.
Weave in any remaining ends.
