300 (350) 400g of black yarn (47% cotton, 47% polyarcyl, 6% polyamide; 165m/50g);
300 (300) 350g of the same yarn, but in white color;
Crochet hook 4;
Fastener with pin (70 mm) in black color.
Size: S (M) L.
Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-5th rows x once, then, 2nd-5th rows.
Stitches control: 24 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Make 111 (121) 131 chain sts + 1 chain st increase with white yarn and work with the main pattern. For “bat” sleeves, make 5 chain sts from both sides (= ½ pattern repeat) in 10 cm from the set-up row and include sts in the pattern. Then, make 1 x 5 chain sts in the next 2nd row and 10 x 5 chain sts in every following row, then, 3 x 10 chain sts (1 x 5 chain sts and 2 x 10 chain sts) 2 x 5 chain sts and 1 x 10 chain sts in every row and include sts in the pattern = 291 sts. In 38 (39) 40 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
Make in the same way, as back, but make increases only along right side.
Make in reflection to left front.
Make shoulder and sleeve seams, leave the central 24 cm of back open for neck-hole. Make side and lower edges of sleeves seams. Fasten the edges of jacket, except lower edge with 2 rows of single crochets with black yarn. Fasten the edges of sleeves with 1 circle row of picots with black yarn.
Braid black fringe in the edge of right front, for this, braid every 2 threads of 65 cm long in every 1st and every 2nd single crochet by turn.
