Notes
This pattern is worked in the round, from the bottom up, with a slip st into the first st of the row.
The ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.
All of the stitches in this pattern are single crochets. The directions will only tell you what color (i.e., Color A, Color B, etc.) and the number in the parentheses tells you how many single crochets to make.
In the example, the inactive yarn is carried behind the active.
You need to know how to work into the back loop only (BLO) for this pattern. At the end of the row, slip st into both loops; this will help keep your seam straight.
If you don’t work this pattern in the back loop only, it might end up leaning. You can block the finished item to make it lean less.
Add some Puffy Paint to the inside of your cozy to give it a non-slip texture.
In the photos: color A is pink (Bernat Super Value in Peony Pink), color B is black (Bernat Super Value in Black), color C is white (some miscellaneous stash color), color D is darker green (Bernat Super Value in Lush), and Color E is lighter green (Bernat Super Value in Grass).
