Crochet Christmas bulbs are a delightful way to add a touch of homemade charm to your holiday decor. Supplies Needed

• F hook
• Medium weight yarn in 4 (I used Lily’s sugar and cream)
• Poly fill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Silver yarn (optional)
• Glitter glue (optional)

Instructions for Crafting the Bulb

Bulb:

1. Ch 2
2. 5sc in second ch from hk – 5
3. sc in each st around – 5
4. 2sc in each st around – 10
5. (sc, 2sc) 5x – 15
6. sc around – 15
7. (sc 2, 2sc) 5x – 20
8. sc around – 20
9. (sc 3, 2sc) 5x – 25
10. 9-14. sc around – 25
11. (sc 3, dec) 5x – 20
12. sc around – 20
13. begin stuffing, keep stuffing firm.
14. (sc 2, dec) 5x – 15
15. sc around – 15
16. (sc, dec) 5x – 10
17. sc around – 10
18. dec 5, fasten off, sew shut

Creating the Top (Optional)

Top:

1. Ch 2
2. 4sc in second ch from hk – 4
3. 2sc in each st around – 8
4. sc around in back loops only – 8
5. sc around – 8

Fasten off. Sew on to top.

It’s hard to see in the photo, but I used fine glitter glue and covered a few stripes only. It glitters lovely in the light!
