Materials

  • Crochet hook
  • Yarn in 2 colors
  • Filling (for example polyester filling)

Abbreviations

  • sc – single crochet
  • inc – increase (sc2 in one stitch)
  • dinc – double increase (sc3 in one stitch)
  • dec – decrease (go from 2 stitches to one), I recommend using invisible decrease
  • slst – slip stitch
  • BLO – work in back loops only
  • FLO – work in front loops only

Pattern

Top (Used for Cupcake and Ice Cream)

1. sc6 in MR
2. (sc, inc) 3x (9)
3. (sc2, inc) 3x (12)
4. sc12 (12)
5. FLO: (dinc, slst) 6x
Finish off

Ice Cream Cone

Attach your thread to the back loops of row 4.

Finish off by sewing the hole shut. You do this by going through the front loops of the stitches of the last row. Pull tight to close the hole and hide the yarn tail in the cone.

Cupcake Bottom

Attach your thread to the back loops of row 4.

Finish off by sewing the hole shut. You do this by going through the front loops of the stitches of the last row. Pull tight to close the hole and hide the yarn tail in the cupcake.

If you want, you can put a little cherry on the cupcake. I did this by chaining 2 and attaching that to the top of the cupcake.
