Crochet Hook

Color Change Instructions

Work last stitch before color change to last step, with new color yo and pull new color through remaining loops on hook. Drop unused color to the wrong side. Do not work over unused color.

Joining with Single Crochet (sc)

When instructed to join with sc, begin with a sl knot on the hook, insert the hook in the stitch or space indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on the hook.

Dishcloth Instructions

Round 1:

(Right Side) Starting at the center, with Yellow, ch 4, join with sl st to the first ch to form a ring; ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), [dc in ring, ch 2] 7 times; join with sl st to the first dc. (8 dc and 8 ch-2 spaces) Finish off and weave in ends.

Round 2:

With right side facing, join Purple with sl st in any ch-2 space, beg-cl in the same space, ch 4, [cl in next ch-2 space, ch 4] around; join with sl st to the first dc. (8 cl and 8 ch-4 spaces) Finish off and weave in ends.

Round 3:

With right side facing, join Green with sc to any ch-4 space, 5 sc in the same space, [6 sc in next ch-4 space] around; join with sl st to the back loop of the first sc. (48 sc)

Round 4:

Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), working in back loops only, skip the next sc, [dc in next sc, ch 2, skip the next sc] around; join with sl st to the first dc. (24 dc and 24 ch-2 spaces)

Round 5:

With right side facing, join White with sc in any ch-2 space, ch 4, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 3, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 4, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 5, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 6, sc in next ch-2 space, [ch 5, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 4, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 3, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 4, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 5, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 6, sc in next ch-2 space] 3 times, ch 2, dc in first sc (to form last ch-5 space and position yarn for next round).
